Gireendra is a Mechanical engineer. (B.Tech IIT Mumbai 1987, M.S., Univ. of South Carolina, USA, 1989).

He has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. Starting his career with Tata Consultancy Services, Gireendra later founded his own company in the area of CAD-CAM consulting and software development, before starting his independent testing business.

Currently, Gireendra is the founder and CEO of VeriSoft InfoServices Pvt. Ltd. VeriSoft is one of India’s leading independent testing companies today with about 200 people and over 300 purely testing projects successfully completed over the last 9 years for software companies all over the world, ranging from technology start-ups and gaming companies in UK and US to the large Indian IT services companies.

Apart from the technical and business leadership role in the field of software testing, Gireendra is also actively involved in various IT industry activities. He is a core group member of Software Process Improvement Network (SPIN)-Pune, one of the most successful SPINs in India. He is also the Chairman of Computer Society of India (CSI) - Pune chapter and a Core group member of the Mahratta Chamber Gaming and Animation Group.
