Ticket purchases for the STeP-IN Events are subject to the following:

Payment Terms

All prices on website are in rupee (₹) and exclude of taxes. We accept payment via credit card or by bank transfer. All invoices must be paid within 30 days.  

Cancellation Policy

In the event that we must postpone the conference to a later date as a result of superior force matters, such as extreme adverse local weather conditions or weather warnings, natural disasters, civil strikes or conflict, war, terrorist activity, fire, flood conditions, pandemic or other health related crisis and similar, the following options will be available:

• Tickets may be transferred to the rescheduled dates at no additional cost.
• Should the rescheduled dates not be suitable for you, tickets may be transferred to a colleague at no additional cost.
• If the transfer of the tickets is not suitable, we can provide a credit towards the next event.
• We will provide a refund if none of the above options are suitable.

Outside of Superior Force events our regular cancellation policy will apply as outlined below:

Cancellations Policy

In the case of ticket cancellation – provided that the event is not cancelled due to a situation of superior force – the following fees will apply:

• From 12 weeks cancellations will be subject to a 20% administration fee.  
• From 6 weeks cancellations are subject to a 50% administration fee.  
• From 3 weeks onwards – all tickets are 100% non-refundable and full invoices will be due on cancellation or non-attendance. 

Special offers such as 2-for-1 Ticket sales are non-refundable following the 30 day payment period.

Refunds

The STeP-IN events will be organised and arranged in line with the Indian government safety guidelines. If advised by the Indian government not to proceed with the event, for any reason, the above Force Majeure policy will apply.

Tickets are 100% Transferable

All STeP-IN ticket holders may, at any time, transfer their ticket to a colleague, either in their own company or another company (with written confirmation from the existing bill payer). 

Name changes are free of charge right up to the day of the conference – so if for any reason you cannot attend, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague. If you know in advance of the conference, please let us know by contacting Pinky Tyagi by email..

Code of Conduct

STeP-IN is committed to a positive conference experience for all attendees – please familiarise yourself with the terms of our Code of Conduct policy. Everyone attending our event, and our staff, are expected to abide by our code of conduct. Your ticket purchase confirms your acceptance of this policy.

Discounts

We offer discounts on tickets for early bookings. Discounts are applied to the base ticket. Group bundle offers are based on purchases of the same ticket type. If you avail of an offer based on a specific number of tickets i.e. 2-for-1 or 20% off a Group of 5, please note that any part cancellations may result in the remaining tickets reverting to their non discounted price which will be reflected in any refund due.

2-for-1 Ticket purchases must be fully paid within 30 days or they will be deemed cancelled. 2-for-1 tickets are non-refundable after this time.

We also provide partner discounts to our supporting organisations all year, and after Early Bird, also to our participating speakers and exhibitors. Please note only one discount may be applied to a ticket booking. 

Those in full time education can also avail tickets (a 50% reduction from full price). This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. Proof of academic status is required when booking. 

Registering on Behalf of Another

If you are registering on behalf of another person it is your obligation to make sure that the person attending is aware of these Terms and accepts them. By completing and submitting the registration form you are representing and warranting that you have made the person attending aware of these Terms and that they have accepted these Terms.

Personal Data Usage & GDPR

By buying a ticket to a STeP-IN event, you consent for STeP-IN (and related companies) to collect, process and use your personal data for the purposes outlined below:

• To contact you regarding updates and registration information for the event you have booked
• To provide free software testing content co-created by the community
• To upload to the conference app/platform for you to access this feature during the conference
• To advise you of offers for your team

In the unlikely event data is proposed to be shared with a third-party, you will be asked explicitly for consent when you provide this data. 

All exhibitors and sponsors have been made aware of our strict GDPR policy.

Video, Photography and Audio Recording

Throughout the events we organise, or attend as a partner, we capture audio, photos and video showing future attendees what to expect at our events. From time to time, we interview individual attendees, speakers or partners for use in promotional videos and materials. All interviews will be given with consent. By attending any of our in-person or online events you acknowledge and agree that where you choose to participate in elements of the event, you are giving consent to store recordings for any events that you join, if such recordings are in our systems. Please note that all STeP-IN sessions and webinars may be recorded which includes capturing those that have chosen to be present. If you do not consent to being recorded, you can choose to leave the meeting or webinar.

Following each conference, photos and video footage will be processed to create highlights videos. Footage may also be used to promote our future events, and used in marketing campaigns event websites, emails and social media. Photographs may be published on online channels to promote our events, they may also be used in association with the event presentation library, as a cover image or thumbnail.

You agree to permit us, or any third party licensed by us, to use, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise globally disseminate your likeness, name, voice and words in perpetuity in television, radio, film, newspapers, magazines and other media now available and hereafter developed, both before, during and any time after the event, and in any form, without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant includes the right to edit the media, the right to use the media (alone or together with other information), and the right to allow others to use or distribute the media.

Competition Tickets

From time to time, tickets are awarded as prizes to competition winners. These cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and the value of free tickets cannot be redeemed in any other way. Tickets won in competitions are non-transferable.
